We are pleased to announce the launch of the official website for the 9th International Conference on Women in Physics (ICWIP2027), the next edition of IUPAP’s flagship conference dedicated to advancing women in physics worldwide.

Hosted by the Department of Physics and the Centre for Quantum Technologies at the National University of Singapore (NUS), the conference will take place 7–11 June 2027 in Singapore.

Organized every three years since 2002 by the IUPAP Working Group on Women in Physics (WG5), ICWIP brings together physicists, educators, policymakers, and advocates from around the world to exchange ideas, share experiences, and promote greater equity, diversity, and inclusion across the global physics community.

The conference will feature keynote lectures by leading women physicists, poster sessions presenting both physics research and work on equity and inclusion, interactive workshops, and collaborative sessions aimed at developing recommendations for the profession. Refereed contributions will be published in the American Institute of Physics Conference Proceedings series.

The newly launched website includes information about the conference venue, programme, travel, and participation, with additional updates to be published as preparations continue.

We invite our community to save the date and visit the new ICWIP2027 website to stay informed about upcoming announcements and opportunities to participate.
