The 30th General Assembly of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics, having been postponed with your consent from October 2020 to October 2021, will commence on 20th October 2021 at 1000 UTC and continue until 22nd October 2021 at 1300 UTC.

Because of the travel restrictions imposed by the pandemic, the meeting will be hosted in Geneva, and members will join via the internet. The platform, or platforms, will be advised to you at a later time.

This is a very important meeting for IUPAP, and we expect all members to attend. As well as its usual business, the 30th GA will be asked to adopt a new set of Statutes and By Laws. We also expect that the new strategic and action plan will be adopted. These very important decisions will shape the actions of our Union into its second century of existence.
