The IUPAP-IYQ2025 Photo Contest, organized in the framework of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ2025), invites participants to showcase the beauty and impact of quantum science through photography.

The contest celebrates images that illustrate quantum processes, their presence in everyday life, and the global efforts in quantum research and education.

Please note that the deadline for submissions has been extended to September 19, 2025 to allow more participants to take part.

Two categories are open – Beyond Our Eyes and At a Glance – with three prizes in each. Winners will be notified on October 20, 2025, and publicly announced on October 24, 2025, with a short ceremony during the IUPAP General Assembly on October 31, 2025.
