Over the years the IUPAP has produced different types of publications. Some of them are only in paper. The IUPAP has recently started the IUPAP 100 project that involves the digitization of all its documents. The digitized documents will be made available for research purposes.

In 1997 the IUPAP started to issue a News Bulletin in digital form with no fixed periodicity. The Bulletin was interrupted in 2009 and resumed once in July 2013. The year 2015 marked the beginning of the IUPAP Newsletter which is currently produced in digital form only four times per year (in March, June, September and December).
